Mindfulness the Ayurveda Way

Explore Ayurveda’s approach to mindfulness, the qualities of the mind and how we can use diet and lifestyle to achieve more mental clarity and relieve stress. This workshop also includes a meditation – no previous experience necessary!
Athleta Upper West Side is partnering with WellBeings™ to offer a series of free workshops every Sunday morning at 9:30am in July to introduce the ancient Indian tradition of Ayurveda, and sister science to yoga, to the Athleta Uppser West Side community!
Ayurveda, which translates to “the science of life,” centers on diet and lifestyle as an approach to physical and mental health. Its focus is on prevention and having the tools you need to identify what is wrong and rebalance yourself before an illness or disease manifests. It is perfect for busy people who want to hone in on a few small things that can lead to big changes when it comes to managing stress, fatigue, and overall well being.
The workshops are designed so you can join all, one, or a few – they can be taken standalone or as a series. Hope to see you there!
